Here it is - the final week of school! Just a few reminders and details to keep you informed:
Tuesday is
Field Day and the children will be outside for most of the day. They will all have Manatee t-shirts for the event. You can send an extra change of clothes and shoes in case they decide to participate in the water games. We also recommend sun screen if your child burns easily, since the weather forecast is for sun. Yahoo!
There will be barbequed hamburgers and watermelon for lunch. The lunch will be charged to student's lunch account. If you are going to be here for lunch and would like to purchase a hamburger, please let us know. You can send in $3.00, or bring it along with you. If your child does not like hamburgers, please send in a sack lunch. We will be eating lunch in the classroom.
Thursday is our End-of-Year Party, from 1:30 - 3:30. We will be honoring each child in a special way, and there will be a slide show. Please come if you are able. It's a fun way to end the year.
