Daily Schedule and Specialist Schedule

Happy Labor Day!

Thank you to those of you that have turned in the Student Imformation and Parent Volunteer Sign-Up forms.  We appreciate your prompt attention to these valuable forms that help us get organized at the beginning of the year.

The first three days of school have been very successful!
We have been reading books about acceptance and following your heart.   After reading Howard B. Wigglebottom Listens to His Heart,
by Howard Binkow and Susan F. Cornelison, students wrote about what was close to their hearts.  It's been fun getting to know each other
as we played a "Find Someone" attribute game, and a "Scavenger Hunt" to locate items in the classroom.

Another way we get to know each other is The Question of the Day.  Students answer a different question every morning by choosing options listed on the board.  A great way to find out about your child's day at school is to ask about the Question of the Day, what it was, and how your child answered it . . . this will get them chatting about their day!

Our daily schedule and specialist schedule are in place, and ready to begin on Tuesday, September 6th.
