Manatees Donating to Charity

The Joy of Giving

For our third consecutive year, students have voted to donate money to a worthy cause in order to make Valentine's Day more meaningful and memorable.  Students have chosen to donate the money they would have spent on Valentine's Day cards or candy to ASPCA (American Society to Prevent Cruelty to Animals).  Please send in coins to fill our donation jar. Thank you for your support as we strive to instill the joy of caring and giving in our classroom.

Our Valentine’s Day activities will include a party with treats and crafts, but we will not exchange cards or candy.  Our party will take place on Thursday, February 14, from 1:40 - 3:20.
The first segment of time will be dedicated to creating crafts: 1:40 - 2:15.
There will be a 20 minute break for recess at 2:15.
The last 40 minutes will  be for enjoying the sweet treats: 2:40 - 3:20.
Hope you can join us for the fun!

Pajama Day!

The Manatee students have earned another class party.  On Tuesday, January 29, students are welcome to wear their pajamas to school.  They can also bring in stuffed animals.  We will be having a read-in to celebrate their many
compliments on good behavior.

SNACK ALERT!
The Manatees are running low on snacks.  Please send in crackers, granola bars, fruit snacks, or any healthy snack.
We are happy to cut up fresh fruit if you send it in.
Thank you!
